General Meeting

Meeting was called to order at 8:23 hrs. by Chairman D. Miller. Roll was called. A quorum of voting members were present. 5 members were excused and 8 members were absent. Appropriate sponsorship was present. Debra Sheldon vice Principal.

Members were asked to remove their hats for a moment silence for American Prisoners of War, those Missing in Action, those Killed in Action, and for our troops deployed around the world.

COMMITTEE REPORTS:


BYLAWS: Mr. Northrop. Nothing to report.

FOOD SALE: Mr. Portune, we are working on our next sale. A list of tentative products was passsed out to all members.

SOCIAL: Mr. Protune, a vote was taken on the meal that will be served. Ribs won. Donations were asked for to cover cost. Operation Mom is donating supplies and dessert and drinks. Thanks Mom.

COMMARADERIE NIGHT: Mr. Stetler, we are sorry that the last camaraderie night was canceled, do to late paper work. We will try again.

REAL CHOICE: Mr. Renteria spoke about scheduling

STAMPS FOR SOLDIERS: Mr. Warren, nothing new.

GRANTS: Mr. Singler, Secondary letters have been sent. Waiting for a response.

SCHOLARSHIP: Mr. Leavitt, we sent out 256 letters. Operation Mom has it posted on their web site.



OLD BUSINESS:No Old Business.


NEW BUSINESS


We have a new member. Mr. Schuhmacher Air Force, spoke briefly about his service and introduced him self to the group.

Mr. Arnold has requested to leave the group. He leaves the group in good standing.

Mr. House was voted into the group by secret ballot.

The new hats are in. If you would like one the price is $5.00. See the secretary in 2-N-32.

The group thanked Debra Sheldon and Gloria from Operation Mom.

A motion was made to adjourn the meeting the motion was second. The motion passed.

The next meeting will be on March 30th, 2008.
